Um...wow. I was really shaken by this. It's a real snuff film shot by contracted British security guards indiscriminately shooting up Iraqi drivers, set to the tune of Elvis Presley's "Train". The overall mood is one of a laid-back Sunday afternoon playing Grand Theft Auto. And do you know how the British military responded? They won't press charges, as "there was no probable cause".
Huh? No cause. Here are three possibilities right off the top of my head: racism, fear, xenophobia, and Tony Blair. Okay, four.
A Washington Post article explains that this goes on all the time, and nobody is ever charged with a crime. The worst punishment ever doled out to these private killers is dismissal from duty.
